Activity: Draw out David & Goliath at the battle line
Description of David (1 Sam17:40,42)
- A young man, ruddy & handsome
- Staff in his hand
- 5 smooth stones in shepherd’s bag
- Sling in hand
- 9 feet tall, or 3m tall
- He wore: (a) Bronze helmet on his head (b) Scale armor of bronze, weigh abt 57 kg (c) Bronze sheaves on his legs (d) Bronze javelin on his back (head of spear weigh 7kg) (e) Sword
- Activity can be conducted in either option: (1) Each member to draw both David & Goliath; or (2) Pair the members, one to draw David, another to draw Goliath
- Prepare logistics for drawing activity – papers & color pens according to group size.
