Scripture Reading: Galatians 5:14
A. Warm Up: With a pen and paper, draw yourself and share with one another what you like best about yourself and why?
B. Read Galatians 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
From this scripture, what is the one key that will help us to obey this command to love our neighbor?
From last Sunday’s message, we learnt that we have to deal with 2 things in order to love ourselves better.
1. Freaked out by our past – Admit it.
2. Freed up by the Lord – Accept it.
Share which one applies more to you and why.
C. Application: Go back to the picture that you have drawn earlier of yourself, write your name near your picture and add the line after your name “ ______ is God’s beloved”.
When you are done, tell the person next to you that “I am God’s beloved.”
Pray a blessing of God’s love for one another.
